The business of thermal energy is one of energy conservation, efficient conversion, and utilization of fossil
fuels and other energy resources. Companies in general focus on:
A) Improving already existing technologies.
B) Manufacturing newer and better technologies.
C) Consulting.
Recovering Thermal Energy (Heat)
Current electricity production is not very efficient. An estimated 66% (yes, that is 2/3) of the energy produced in the
burning of fossil fuels to produce electricity is lost as heat!. Of all methods utilized for energy production and
conversion, including nuclear, hydro, natural gas, and petroleum the energy waste reaches almost 60%. It is easy to see
how the recovery of this lost energy is desirable and has practical application.
